Cirque du Soleil for UK Arena Tour
The world famous Cirque de Soleil has announced its first ever UK arena tour of Varekai. This hit show has been updated and features new acts which have never been seen in the UK.
Varekai is set deep within a forest, near the summit of a volcano where an extraordinary world exists. A solitary young man explores the mystical world and the story of Varekai begins. The word originates from the romany language and means the universal wanders.
Cirque du Soleil has received universal success since it began in 1984 with 20 street performers. The company has 1300 performers from 50 different countries. The shows have been seen by 160 million spectators around the world in more than 60 countries.
Varekai will be playing in Sheffield, Dublin, Newcastle upon Tyne, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham and Glasgow in 2017. Amaluna is also playing in Manchester in September and October and London in January and February.
