The traditional wooden stalls along New Street and on Victoria Square offer a range of large range of gifts and Bavarian delicacies such bratwurst, pretzels, and glühwein.
Manchester Christmas Markets
Manchester Christmas Markets can be found across nine locations in the city centre. With over 200 stalls to browse, there will be a selection of crafts, seasonal goods as well as plenty of food and drink. Liverpool Christmas Market
Liverpool’s Christmas Market is located around the iconic St George’s Hall and offers an array of festive treats, gifts, crafts and food options as well as a selection of bars selling seasonal drinks. The winter fairground rides are not to be missed including a vintage carousel and giant ferris wheel.
Edinburgh Christmas Market and Winter Festival
Edinburgh Christmas Market, set in East Princes Street Gardens, offers great views of Edinburgh Castle and around 70 stalls selling everything from woollen scarves to bratwurst. York’s Christmas market, also known as St Nicholas Fair is home to around 75 its charming alpine-style chalets which line the medieval areas of Parliament Street and St Sampson’s Square. The market offers an excellent selection of local Yorkshire produce, from handcrafted chocolates to locally brewed ales.
Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market
Winchester Christmas Market takes place in the grounds of the magnificent Winchester Cathedral and is recognised as one of the best in Europe. Inspired by the traditional German market, visitors can discover over 100 wooden chalets selling artisan crafts and gourmet food.
Canterbury Christmas Market
Canterbury’s Christmas Market is set within the heart of the historic centre and is located over three areas in the city. It is one of the largest one of the Christmas Markets in the South East with around 95 huts and over 150 stallholders. Each of the stalls is selling a selection of festive gifts, handmade crafts, and delicious seasonal food.
Glasgow Christmas Market
Glasgow Winterfest is home to two Christmas markets, one at St Enoch Square and the other at George Square, both offer an array of festive delights. In addition to the market stalls where visitors can enjoy delicious treats, artisan gifts, there are plenty of thrilling attractions and rides such as the Big Wheel, Santa’s Runaway train and Ice Rink.
